
Christoffer Boe Film
Christoffer Boe (b. 1974) is an acclaimed Danish film director and screenwriter known for his bold, visually striking, and emotionally complex storytelling. He debuted with Reconstruction (2003), which won the prestigious Camera d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, instantly establishing him as one of Europe’s most distinctive new voices in cinema.
His filmography includes Allegro (2005), Offscreen (2006), Everything Will Be Fine (2010), Beast (2011), Sex, Drugs & Taxation (2013), and A Taste of Hunger (2021). Boe also created the TV series Warrior (2018) and Face to Face (2019–2023). As co-founder of Alphaville Pictures Copenhagen, he balances arthouse sensibilities with wider appeal.
His latest feature, Rejseholdet: Det første mord (internationally titled Special Unit – The First Murder), a 1920s-set crime drama about the origins of Denmark’s mobile investigation unit, is set to premiere in Denmark on September 4, 2025
