Julie Silbermann Art

Julie Quottrup Silbermann is the Director of CHART Art Fair in Copenhagen since 2022. She holds a Master’s in Modern Culture and Cultural Communication from the University of Copenhagen. She has worked within the international art scene, where she has worked as Senior gallery director, art advisor, cultural communicator and curator. At CHART she is committed to continue and strengthen CHART’s position as the leading and central Nordic art event followed by expanding its digital presence and fostering yearround visibility for the contemporary art community.

For CHART 2025 we will be focusing on art in the public space by creating running tours and a sculpture exhibition in Tivoli. I’ve always been interested in how art in public spaces influences our experience of place – how it transforms, comments on, and interacts with the surrounding architecture, urban structure, and natural environment. This influences my selection for CURIN.
