Out Of Art was founded by Daniel Furman and Johan Espholm with a shared ambition to create a thoughtful and accessible approach to collecting art. We focus on original works and limited-edition prints by established artists, where quality, provenance, and art historical relevance form the foundation of our curation.

At Out Of Art, every work is selected with careful consideration for both its artistic significance and its context. Context refers to the work's place within the artist's practice, the period in which it was created, its subject matter, and its art historical relevance, allowing collectors to understand where each work belongs within the artist's broader body of work.

I am behind most of our posts, stories, and the day-to-day insights we share about art. Johan is more focused on new concepts and the long-term development of the business, while together we shape the strategy and direction of Out Of Art.

When we started OUTOFARTGALLERY, we had no experience with social media. Since then, we've discovered an entire world of art, knowledge, and stories that continues to inspire us and bring together people from different backgrounds and interests every day. My interest in art began with the immediate experience of encountering a work. Before long, however, I became curious about why it had taken the form it did. That curiosity grew into a desire to better understand the artist and the person behind the work, their ideas, ambitions, doubts, surroundings, and the time in which they lived.

I am often drawn to art that says something about the human experience. Art that explores society, the defining ideas of its time, relationships, and the questions that follow us throughout life. Works that reflect what it means to be human, moments of change, adversity, uncertainty, and the experiences that shape us.
