Rob Chiu is a director known for emotionally resonant, visually distinctive filmmaking. He studied Graphic Design at Manchester Metropolitan University, where his final year film Journey was selected for the BFI National Archive. His short film Chinaman, funded by BFI NETWORK and co-produced by Iconoclast and Agile Films, premiered at Palm Springs ShortFest and is currently on the festival circuit. He recently served as second unit director on Romain Gavras's Sacrifice. Alongside his professional work, Rob has recorded one second of his life every day since April 2016, now in its eleventh year.
