Mads Bryld Art
Mads Bryld (b. 1991) is a Danish visual artist and landscape Architect based in Copenhagen. His practice centers on oil paintings, informed by extensive, often hyper-local field research and everyday life. His work explores perception, time, and seasonal transition through shifting landscapes in which motifs dissolve and reappear – sky merges with water, foreground becomes background, and outer environments transform into inner, perceptual spaces. Subtle and atmospheric, his paintings reflect the continuous cycles of nature and the slow, almost imperceptible changes that shape our surroundings.
Mads is represented by V1Gallery in Copenhagen and recent exhibitions include Altered Horizons at Haricot Gallery, London (2025); Sometime in the Spring, Somewhere in the Fall at V1 SALON, Copenhagen (2025); Landscapes at V1 Gallery & Eighteen, Copenhagen (2025); and Fortune Teller at V1 SALON (2024), among others.
