Nicola Bertellotti Photography

Nicola Bertellotti is a professional photographer who has traveled the world for years to rediscover and document the beauty hidden in forgotten places. Starting from his studies in history, he has developed a highly personal visual research, capable of expressing the nostalgia for lost paradise through the allure of ruins. Today, his works are present in important public and private collections and have been the subject of solo exhibitions in international galleries and museums.

Over the course of his career, he has received prestigious institutional awards, winning the Arte Prize by Cairo Editore, the AIPAI contest, the Trento Art Prize, and the Latina International Photography competition. He has participated in major events such as Paris Photo, and his portfolios have appeared in numerous magazines, including Vanity Fair, Esquire, Elle Decor, Marie Claire, Nuvo, and Milieu Magazine. He has also chronicled this long journey into memory through his books, including the monographs Fenomenologia della fine (2014) and In Absentia (2022).
