In Japan, he has designed commercial and mixed-use efforts like Toranomon Hills Station Tower, Harajuku Quest, and Tenjin Business Center and cultural projects like Gion Monogatari and Kanegasaki Community Center. Shigematsu has collaborated with artists like Cai Guo-Qiang, Taryn Simon, and Bosco Sodiand fashion brands including Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Tiffany & Co.
