Carl Krull Art

Carl Krull is a Danish artist whose drawings and paintings depict figures inhabiting topographical territories that break new ground, revealing our world as if mapped by sonar and echolocated in space. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poland and Mexico. His work has been exhibited at ARoS, Charlottenborg Kunsthal, and performed at the Royal Theater in Denmark.

Internationally, he has had exhibitions in the USA, Poland, France, and most recently in Japan at Tokyo Gendai, with a solo show and live drawing performances. Krull’s technique layers lines resembling longitudes, latitudes, and meridian curves, forming intricate networks that challenge the flatness of the medium.
