David Thulstrup is an award-winning architect and designer known for his modern simplicity style, which blends his Scandinavian heritage with contemporary design. He founded his studio in Copenhagen in 2009 after several years working in Paris and New York for design icons Jean Nouvel and Peter Marino.
Central to his philosophy are the questions ”who is it for” and ”how will it be used” guiding him to create timeless projects that are rooted in materiality and context to establish a strong sense of place.
His work includes the acclaimed Noma restaurant in Copenhagen and Ikoyi in London, as well as collaborations with private clients to realize their dream homes.
